Long stays: your questions before booking
A long stay is a trip of two to three weeks (or more) spent in one place, with accommodation, transfers and often breakfasts and a few tours included. The long stays on this page last 13 to 21 nights: time to settle in, slow down and experience the destination day to day.
For nature and beaches: Costa Rica (February 9 to 27, 2027, San José and 14 nights in Jacó). For a colonial city by the sea: Cartagena, Colombia (February 27 to March 12, 2027).
For Europe with direct flights: Tenerife, in the Canary Islands (February 6 to 28, 2027). For history and the Mediterranean: Malta (arrivals in November 2026 or March 2027). For a tropical island in Asia: Phu Quoc, Vietnam (daily departures).
Only the Tenerife long stay offers a with-flights option, with direct flights from Montréal on the Air Canada group allotment, airport taxes included. It is also available land only.
The Costa Rica, Colombia, Malta and Vietnam stays do not include international flights. The Vietnam stay does include round-trip domestic flights Ho Chi Minh City – Phu Quoc – Ho Chi Minh City. Your travel advisor can quote flights from Montréal.
In Costa Rica and Colombia, Johanne Dion and Don Belford, two experienced Exotik Tours ambassadors, escort the group, with English- and French-speaking tour escorts for the entire stay. In Tenerife, a bilingual (French-English) tour escort is present once the group reaches 20 participants.
Malta and Vietnam are independent stays: a representative is available in Malta and 24/7 customer assistance is provided in Vietnam.
Yes. The Costa Rica long stay can be combined with the Colombia long stay (February 27 to March 12, 2027) or extended by 3 nights in Arenal (February 27 to March 2, 2027). In Malta, an optional 5-excursion package is available.
They vary by stay. Costa Rica and Colombia: non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per person, final payment due December 21, minimum of 10 people to confirm the group before October 30. Tenerife: non-refundable deposit of $2,000 per person, final payment due November 5, 2026. Malta: non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per person, final payment due 50 days prior to departure.

Yes. Packages are based on double occupancy. Mention that you’re travelling solo in the details of your request and your travel advisor will confirm the single-occupancy rate.

Group departures have limited space, and escorted groups must be confirmed before October 30, 2026. Choose your long stay and get a personalized quote from your travel advisor.
Packages are based on double occupancy, for the dates shown. Prices, provided on request, include the client contribution to the Québec Compensation Fund for Customers of Travel Agents.
