Where will you go this summer?
Art cities, wild coastlines, great tables and volcanoes: every destination has its own character. Find yours, we’ll handle the rest.
Dubrovnik
The old town walls drop straight into an almost unreal Adriatic blue. Walk the ramparts at sunrise, swim at the foot of the cliffs, then take a boat out to the Elaphiti Islands. The pearl of the Adriatic, now one flight from Montréal.
- UNESCO old town
- Elaphiti Islands
- Bay of Kotor
Basel
An art city on the Rhine, right where Switzerland, France and Germany meet. In summer, locals float down the river through downtown. The next day, it’s riesling on the Alsace Wine Route or a train to the Swiss lakes.
- Swimming in the Rhine
- Alsace Wine Route
- Black Forest
Tenerife
It used to be a winter getaway: Tenerife is now served all year. Mount Teide, the Los Gigantes cliffs, pilot whales and mild weather in every season. Eternal spring, no need to wait for January.
- Teide National Park
- Whale watching
- Black-sand beaches
Lima
The food capital of the Americas. Ceviche facing the Pacific in Miraflores, some of the world’s most awarded restaurants, bohemian Barranco… And the natural gateway to Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.
- Ceviche and top tables
- Barranco
- On to Machu Picchu
Guatemala City
Smoking volcanoes, colonial towns and a living Maya culture. Pastel-fronted Antigua, Lake Atitlán ringed by volcanoes, the Tikal pyramids deep in the jungle: an incredibly rich country, under six hours from Montréal.
- Antigua
- Lake Atitlán
- Tikal
Oslo
A capital where you walk on the opera house roof, swim in the fjord between two museums and the sun barely sets in June. Oslo is also the perfect launch pad for the great western fjords, via one of Europe’s most beautiful rail journeys.
- Opera and Munch museum
- Floating saunas
- Norway’s fjords
Shannon
Land straight in Ireland’s wild west. About an hour’s drive away: the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and Galway with live music in its pubs every night. The perfect starting point for the Wild Atlantic Way, the country’s most spectacular coastal route.
- Cliffs of Moher
- Galway
- Wild Atlantic Way
Nice
The Promenade des Anglais, the ochre lanes of Old Nice, the Cours Saleya flower market… Then Monaco, Èze, Antibes and Cannes, all under an hour away. The French Riviera, nonstop.
- Old Nice
- Monaco and Èze
- Hilltop villages
London
The Toronto–London daytime flight is back: leave in the morning, land in the evening and sleep in a real bed on night one. No red-eye, no lost first day. The most civilized way to take on London or the rest of Europe.
- No red-eye
- Arrive rested
- European connections
Shanghai
The Bund at sunset, Pudong’s forest of towers, Yu Garden and water towns with centuries-old canals. With a flight every day instead of four a week, Shanghai gets far easier to plan, for leisure and business alike.
- The Bund
- Water towns
- Business travel
Guangzhou
The capital of Cantonese cooking and the birthplace of dim sum. Guangzhou is also home to the Canton Fair, one of the world’s major trade events, and a gateway to Hong Kong, Shenzhen and the karst landscapes of Guilin.
- Dim sum at the source
- Canton Fair
- On to Guilin
Dubrovnik,
the pearl of the Adriatic
An evening departure from Montréal, one night in the air, and you’re having breakfast by the sea. Dubrovnik is best taken slowly: the old town early in the morning, a swim in the afternoon, a drink on the walls at sunset.
The city walls
Nearly two kilometres of ramparts to walk, with the sea on one side and terracotta rooftops on the other.
Lokrum and the Elaphiti Islands
A garden island fifteen minutes away by boat, then a string of car-free islands for a day at sea.
Montenegro next door
The Bay of Kotor and its stone villages are just over two hours away by road.
Cruise + flight
Dubrovnik is a major Adriatic cruise port: arrive a few days before you sail.

What people ask us
When do the new flights start?
Guangzhou kicks things off on May 4, 2027 from Vancouver. Then Dubrovnik on May 11 and Basel on June 16 from Montréal, followed by Oslo on June 2, Shannon on June 10 and Nice on June 16 from Toronto.
Which destinations leave from Montréal?
Dubrovnik and Basel (new summer routes), plus Tenerife, Lima and Guatemala City, now served all year.
I’m in Montréal: can I fly to Oslo, Shannon or Nice?
Yes. You first fly to Toronto, then connect to the nonstop flight to Europe. One ticket, bags checked through to your destination.
How long do the summer routes run?
Shannon until October 2, Oslo until October 10, Nice, Basel and Dubrovnik until October 23, 2027 (returns the following day in most cases).
Is Basel in Switzerland or France?
Both, in a way. EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg sits on French soil and serves Switzerland, France and Germany. Ideal for combining Basel, Alsace and the Black Forest.
What is the London day flight?
A morning departure from Toronto and an evening arrival in London instead of an overnight flight. You sleep in a bed on night one and start your trip rested. Detailed schedules will be announced soon.
Tenerife, Lima and Guatemala City, even in summer?
Yes. These three routes from Montréal are now offered all year, opening up new options for summer vacation and the holiday season.
Can I combine two destinations?
Absolutely. A multi-city ticket lets you fly into one city and home from another. Mention it in your request and an advisor will suggest the best combinations.
