CareFlex Plus: our most flexible option

$149 per person, plus applicable taxes

CareFlex Plus is designed for travellers who want to keep all their options open. It applies to new bookings of eligible vacation packages and Flight & Hotel packages to Mexico, the Caribbean, Central & South America, Canada, the U.S., Europe, Asia, Oceania, the Middle East and North Africa.

Cancel your trip up to 24 hours before departure.
Up to 21 days before departure: receive a full refund to the original form of payment.
From 20 days to 24 hours before departure: receive a full refund to the original form of payment, less a transferable in-house travel credit (up to a maximum of $250 per person, depending on destination).
Change your travel dates, destination, hotel or room category, subject to availability and plan conditions.
Transfer your package to a friend or family member, subject to conditions.

Travel protection plan costs are non-refundable. In case of cancellation, specific rules apply to in-house credits. Please refer to Air Canada Vacations’ full travel protection terms and conditions.

A supplement of $50 per person (plus applicable taxes) may apply for departures during certain holiday periods. Plans are not applicable to group bookings, car rentals, insurance policies, excursions, theme park tickets and other attractions, or non-refundable bookings.

When should I purchase my travel protection plan?

Travel protection plans are usually purchased at the time of booking, and most plans can be added up to 48 hours after booking through the Manage Your Booking tool. The CareFree plan for Flight & Cruise bookings must be purchased at time of booking.

Who needs to be covered?

All passengers sharing the same room or cabin must purchase the same travel protection plan.

Is the cost of the plan refundable?

No. The cost of travel protection plans is non-refundable. Only the package amount may be refunded or credited, depending on the plan selected and the timing of the cancellation.

Where can I find full details and conditions?

Full terms, conditions and exclusions for each travel protection plan are available during the booking process on aircanadavacations.com. In the event of any discrepancy, the official terms and conditions prevail.
